ŽIVELI TEHNOKLASTI

The idea emerged at the end of 2024, out of a feeling that something was missing amid technological progress — a strong opposition, a radical counterforce. The idea was first mentioned publicly in the interview Great Need for Great Dispute in January 2025, where I coined the term “Technoclasts”, drawing on the tradition of the iconoclasts.

The first poster, conceived as an invocation for this force to emerge, was shown at Donau-City Church, Vienna, in June 2026, as part of POSITION +, a group exhibition I organized in cooperation with the art gallery gezwanzig.

The poster appears in three languages and shows raised champagne glasses — a gesture of agreement, a symbolic pact:
Technoclasts are emerging.

Živeli Tehnoklasti!
Hoch leben die Technoklasten!
Long Live the Technoclasts!
