Father, I'm a Nonvoter
When
Mijalkovic was 17, he could not vote in Macedonia as he was still a
minor. For a further 17 years, because he was a foreigner and a
citizen of a country outside the EU, he was denied the right to vote
in Austria, too.
The installation “Father, I’m a Nonvoter” at the underground station Karlsplatz in Vienna addresses this biographic fact and celebrates his fifty-fifty anniversary.
